January 2020 Update

We have been busy securing grants and building our network of donors! Here are a few exciting updates:

IMPACT NASHVILLE GRANT

With the grant from IMPACT NASHVILLE, we are securing two trauma informed therapists to work with our Mothers Over Murder and Straight Talk for Sibling Survivors. We believe their expertise will help bring the healing and rehabilitation to many people we serve. They will also help our volunteer facilitators to recognize signs and guide parents and students to seek professional help for their emotional and mental struggles.

CHRISTMAS EVE WITH MOTHERS OVER MURDER

It was the place to be on Christmas Eve - a true celebration of Love that's present even in our darkest hours. David Fischette and his wife Christine organized a beautiful dinner with live music, raffle and wonderful gift bags, AND they made a $1,000 donation to Nashville Peacemakers.

Our favorite part was each Mom sharing something good that happened through MOMs. They all reflected this one thought: "Even though we met under these circumstances, I love you all. You are my family."

TIANNA'S GRADUATION

We are proud of Tianna who graduated as a Life Coach certified through Radiant Coaches Academy. Tianna joined Mothers Over Murder after loosing her son, became involved as a facilitator and a Board member. We are so grateful that she has been able to find the support she needed to continue on her healing journey - and bring healing to others.
