Get Involved
Our need for volunteers willing to offer their time, talent and treasure is inexhaustible. Opportunities abound for those who prefer to stay behind the scenes as well as those who have what it takes to do the more challenging “hands on” work (background check and pre-screening required). Here are just a few of the ways you might want to volunteer:
-
Help facilitate the Back to Basics (for girls) or Straight Talk (for boys) program
-
Provide transportation to and from meetings, events and outings
-
Offer educational enrichment to youth in your area of expertise
-
Attend bimonthly M.O.M. group meetings to offer moral support
-
Join a committee to help with event planning
-
Assist with ongoing social media needs
-
Support volunteer office staff with day-to-day communications
-
Host a “Tea With Clemmie” in your home for you and a few friends
A good starting point is to email Nashville Peacemakers to request your personal tour (up to 10 people) with Founder & CEO Clemmie Greenlee. She'll see to it that you're utilized in a way that will bring out the best of you—and be of the greatest value to the people we serve.
